More than 346,000 stainless steel double-walled CUPCIN children’s cups sold on Amazon have been recalled due to their lead content exceeding the federal lead ban.
The recall is due to improper manufacture of 8 oz. and 12 oz. The CUPCIN double-wall stainless steel baby cup models are sold in pairs. The recalled cups in both sizes are sold in 12 different color combinations, including straw blue and green, pink and purple, blue and gray, peach and turquoise, black and white, coral and yellow, green and pink, polygnac and floral, brown and peach, rust and salmon, aqua and periwinkle, cobalt and mint. “Cupkin” inscription at the bottom front of the cup.
The cups will be available online at Amazon.com and Cupkin.com from January 2018 to March 2023 for about $20.
Consumers should immediately remove the cup from children and stop using it. Contact Soojimus for a full refund. Soojimus and Amazon contact all known buyers directly.
